Job description:

CAREL manufactures electronic control components within heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration. As Technical Sales Engineer at CAREL you will be an important part of the Technical Sales Team and mainly work with CAREL’s control solutions for refrigeration and retail units and systems. The tasks are varied within technical sales support and you will work with a wide product portfolio. Your main responsibilities are:

- Presales, support the customer in the sales process, suggest good solutions to both existing and potential customers
- After sales, first level technical support to the customers, problem solving
- Support technicians on installations
- Training the customers in CAREL’s different solutions, promotion, seminars etc.
- Customer projects in the Nordics and the Baltics

This is a full-time position and you will be based in Höganäs. Travelling is estimated to 35-45 days/year.

Candidate Profile:

For this position we are looking for you who have a technical background and want to work with technical sales and support. It is an advantage if you have work experience from a similar role within sales engineering, sales support, service engineering and/or installation within refrigeration. An academic education in engineering might be a plus, as well as knowledge in thermodynamics. Good computer skills and communication skills in both spoken and written English is needed. Your technical interest is broad and you don’t mind to also do some hands-on work.

Personal characteristics that we prefer in this role are good social skills, a problem solving mindset and a curiosity and ability to learn new things. Your personality can also be described as dedicated, non prestigious, helpful and flexible. You have a team player personality but also enjoy working independently and can build good relationships on all levels.
