Emerson Process Management's Rosemount Tank Radar AB division in Gothenburg is a leading provider of radar-based level and tank gauging solutions for the marine, oil & gas and process industry markets.The company has tripled its sales in the last 10 years.It now has a turnover of more than 1 billion SEK and employs over 400 people worldwide.To support our rapid growth and expansion into new areas we are now adding a number of positions.The company is a part of Emerson, a global technology and engineering corporation with over 140,000 employees and USD 20 billion in sales.We are now looking for two Technical Specialists in order to strengthen our organization.The primary objective of the position as Technical Specialist is to provide technical and application support for the products involved within Emerson Process Management field Sales & Service Organization.The overall goal is to achieve complete customer satisfaction.Specific job responsibilities: * Provide technical and application support/expertise in a timely manner to Sales & Marketing, Global Technical Support Teams as well as end users * Extended knowledge on Process Level instrumentation (both Radar Level and other Level measurement technologies) * 5-10% travelling for technical expertise, troubleshooting or internal trainings * Ensure the technology flow between Sales Offices & Production Hubs * Liaise between World Area Marketing, Product Management and Production * Support process improvement initiatives * Provide input to create technical and application feedback to Sales * Provide input from the field to Global Marketing to help on product enhancements * Identify training needs within the field Sales and Service force * Provide technical training support to the World Area Organizations when needed * Plan, manage and execute on customer projects * Evaluate and assist in producing business cases for special orders Required qualifications and competencies: * Degree in Engineering (mechanical or electrical is preferred) * Fluent in English (one other European language would be appreciated) * At least 2-3 years of professional experience or a high performing newly graduate * Ease for computing works, including all standard software and various professional tools * Ability to understand technical architecture and to solve technical problems * Comfortable with conducting training sessions (internal and external) * Experience in project management for relevant project types is beneficial (sales, production and commissioning) Success in this role requires a customer focused individual with excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.You need to be action oriented and open for new technologies and processes.It's a benefit if you have a good understanding of Process Level instrumentation and its applications.Both positions will be located in Gothenburg.Welcome with your application in English by using the apply button or the link below, no later than January 31st.[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[
