Technical Support Aftersales to Marine Jet Power in Uppsala

OM TJÄNSTEN
As an employee at Marine Jet Power (MJP) you will get the opportunity to participate in and influence the future of an expansive company. MJP designs and builds waterjets and control systems for the global market. MJP has around 50 employees at its head office in Uppsala, which means you will work in an environment of close collaboration and short decision-making processes. The role of Technical Support Aftersales support three main areas of need in the business:
* Presales activities of upgrades
* Technical customer support
* Internal support to our Service technicians during commissioning- and service jobs

The role has a span over multiple engineering disciplines and we are searching for a candidate with a genuine technical curiosity, sound judgement and an objective approach who wants onboard MJP for a journey. The role contains limited amount of travel.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER

Sales


* Timely support to the order administration with investigation of enquires “as built” article- and SW data
* Finalise relevant enquiries with regards to scope, leadtime, quality and feedback quotes to customer
* Define technical scope of upgrades in dialogue with customer and internal peers
*Internally represent the customer need in sold project


Service


* Provide support to service technicians during commissioning
* Acting as contact person for Service technicians with regards to technical issues during commissioning (this varies from electrical interfaces, control parameter settings to setup of hydraulics)
* Provide support to customers in troubleshooting install
* When required, carry out commissioning-, trainings and produce relevant supporting documentation


Support


* Customer support on technical questions
* 1st line backoffice support to Service technicians


VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* You will have a degree in a relevant technical field


* Have working experience within the area of technical engineering
* Can read drawings, analyse and trouble shoot in an objectively manner
* Have the understanding of implications of proper management of drawing revisions
* Ability to communicate well with stakeholders
* Experience from reading as well as writing service reports
* As Marine Jet Power operates in an international market, it is important that you are fluent in English, both written and spoken
