The Technical Information Management team is now looking for a driven and creative Technical Writer.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Technical Information Management is part of the Corporate Marketing department. The overall goal of the Technical Information Management team is to author and design accurate, consistent and user friendly technical documentation for Axis’ network products.

In this position, daily work entails gathering highly technical information from experts within the organisation, studying existing material and translating it into valid information for our partners, system integrators and end-users.

Main responsibilities and duties:

* Author of world class user documentation for Axis products
* Responsible for maintenance of existing user documentation

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a positive and dedicated team player with excellent problem solving skills. As a person you are focused and efficient with the ability to deliver on time. You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant for technical writing, and previous experience and knowledge in XML-based content management.

Furthermore we believe that you have a keen interest in exploring and learning more about our technology and that you are enthusiastic towards providing high quality technical documentation for Axis’ network video products.

To function well in the role it´s crucial that you have excellent English skills. Experience and knowledge in XML authoring (Arbortext editor), content management (Windchill) and Adobe FrameMaker is also highly valued.

THE CORPORATE MARKETING DEPARTMENT
Corporate Marketing is responsible for the global marketing strategy and planning, in accordance with the company’s overall goals and business strategy. Technical Information Management is part of the Corporate Marketing department, where the team also cooperates with the Training team and Product Marketing.
