Technical Writer

We are seeking a technically savvy writer to expand and update the product documentation on our core product line, the PacketLogic Real-Time Enforcement. The position will be located in our Varberg, Sweden office. The technical communication team is small, flexible, and goal-oriented with great opportunities for influencing processes. Work independently to create documentation for new product features and hardware platforms for the PacketLogic Real-Time Enforcement product line.
Update existing documentation.
Stay informed about product development.
Extract required information about features and specifications from developers and product managers in a global organization.

Required Skill Sets/Qualifications
Experience from technical writing or engineering in datacom/telecom including hardware.
Good understanding of computer networking.
Knowledge of XML/DocBook for authoring.
Basic skills in illustration.
Ability to automate tasks by scripting in bash and Python is valuable.
Excellent level of spoken and written English. A good level of spoken Swedish is recommended.
