Technical Writer

Sigma Technology is currently looking for new employees to fill the role as technical writer in our Linköping office.

The position includes writing structured and user friendly documents related to different kinds of technical products.

Work Description
As a consultant, the work tasks may differ between assignments. The following list contains examples of common tasks as a technical writer:
- Gathering information from different sources such as technicians, product interfaces or previous documentation.
- Writing document content and structure with an accurate language while following existing styles and standards.
- Reviewing and editing documents of your own and by other writers.

Primary Qualifications
The following list contains the primary qualifications of the position.
- Academic background such as Bachelor or Master of Science.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken Swedish and English.
- An ability to research and understand new technology with ease.
- Swedish Citizenship (for certain assignments).

Secondary Qualifications
The following list contains the secondary qualifications of the position.
- Work experience in technical writing.
- Experience of working in XML-based environments.
- Knowledge and/or experience of Agile method.
- Knowledge and/or experience of Simplified Technical English writing standard.
