Job Description
To help us discover, curate, and update the coolest products from across the Internet and then present them gorgeously takes a diverse skill set.

We are looking for a technical lead with 3+ years of professional experience in software development at a consumer, e-commerce or marketplace technology company.

The role will include implementing additional features into our web platform, building additional functionality for our database, and maintaining APIs. To do this, you will need experience with our back-end tools and technologies that include Node.js, PostgrSQL, GraphQL, apollo, AWS (Elastic beanstalk/ RDS) and front-end technologies such as React, Next.js.

We ultimately want you to work closely with the founders to lead the direction of our product. By ensuring the smooth functioning of our technical operations, building a team around you, setting milestones with our founding team, and executing to scale Abstract.

Functions / Tasks / Responsibilities
Responsibilities:

- Strategizing product roadmap
- Building features for our web platform
- Maintaining and building functionality for our database
- Maintaining and integrating APIs


Skills we look for:

- 3+ years experience working as a developer
- Experience using Node.js, PostgrSQL, GraphQL, apollo, AWS, React, Next.js
- Full-stack development skill set
- Experience building a marketplace or e-commerce platform (optional)
- Experience building consumer technology (optional)
