The Opportunity
We are looking for a commercial driven and highly analytic Manager for our Tender & Contract team. You will be the key person in ensuring that we build excellence within tender and contracting and consistently grow our competitive advantage in the industry. As a manager, you will be responsible for analysing national tenders and commercial opportunities, and managing corresponding proposals for those tenders. You will lead and manage your team through application of our tender and acquisition processes; you will motivate and empower your team members through facilitating excellent team communication and efficiency, you will support ownership and maximize innovation, targeting a high-quality tender submission and contract. You will be the key person in the further development of your team and business. You will play an important role in working with our tenders and growth strategy.

As a manager, you are responsible for a team of eight dedicated employees in the roles of, Tender specialist, Business analysts and Contract coordinators. The team is responsible for the entire tender process – both public and private tenders. You will ensure that our tenders always are accurate and competitive, and that pricing is continually optimized.

Main responsibility
Tender management
· Define tender strategies together with the management team
· Maintain tender pipeline and identify upcoming tenders
· Coordinate customer activities in close collaboration with Sales organization
· Lead the tender process by producing accurate and competitive tenders including calculation and risk analysis in collaboration with other relevant stakeholders
· Supervise and develop business case supporting tender bids and highlight potential business risk to management
· Orchestrate market access activities in close cooperation with the sales and product management organisation
· Analyse and document wins/losses and lessons learned

Contract management
· Follow-up of our customer contracts and deviations from original calculation
· Facilitate ‘health checks’ of key contracts. Drive actions and follow-up with stakeholders to maintain profitability
· Suggest improvement actions and optimization opportunities which are then implemented by our sales organization
· Develop action plans for the a agreements based on the decided strategy

Team development
· Lead and support a team of eight
· Set priorities and support team members in development
· Focus on employee development and ensure that the team is engaged and motivated
· Ensure strong cooperation between the relevant departments in Sweden as well as cross country in Mediq (Category Management, Product Management, Sourcing, Sales teams, Marketing, Supply Chain etc.) of the company

Qualifications
· A university business degree, or equivalent
· At least three years’ experience with tender management
· Experience from a sales or commercial role within the Healthcare Industry is an advantage
· Demonstrated ability to build consultative, collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels
· Strong communication skills both written and verbally
· Solid analytical skills and ability to translate complex data structures into valuable insights and recommendations
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and still create engagement from stakeholders
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Excellent general computer skills, in Microsoft, business systems and BI systems
· Fluent in Swedish and English language
