Test and Development Engineer

LeanNova Engineering is an engineering service company situated in Trollhättan, Sweden, created in 2012 by former engineers from Saab Automobile AB. Together with our main investor Fouriertransform AB, we are developing the company to compete internationally, mainly focusing on the automotive industry. We offer our customers excellence in development and integration of systems and attributes for complete vehicles. We have since the start-up in February 2012 grown to over 150 employees with a majority of former Saab engineers but also persons with other experiences. We will continue to grow rapidly and we plan to open offices in Shanghai and Gothenburg.

Position description

We are looking for an experienced Test and Development Engineer, mainly within Strength and Durability Testing, but functional tests and attribute testing are also possible. Main location will be in Trollhättan, but occational travelling to customers and test tracks will be a part of the job.
-Plan, perform and report tests, mainly within strength and durability
-Propose design improvements to solve identified issues
-Develop test methods as well as requirements
-Communicate with customers to understand their needs and propose relevant test methods
-Work closely with CAE engineers in order to provide information to improve simulation models

Skills & Requirements

-B. Sc. in mechanical engineering or similar knowledge received through work experience
-10 years work experience as a test and development engineer.
-Experience of measurement and data acquisition systems.
-Experience of multi axial testing, preferable with RPCPro.
-Experience from brake squeal testing and the systems ProLink and RevDataPlus is beneficial
-Driving license
-Communicative English and Swedish both verbal and written.
-Merit having worked within the automotive industry.
-Being able to travel occasionally.
