For the right person we now have an opportunity to be part of our journey to develop the electrical powertrain of the future and join our battery test facility team as a Test Field Engineer.

Our team

The team includes 6 test cell engineers, 3 test field engineers, and one group manager. It consists of people with a mixture of different work experiences, nationalities, and ages. The atmosphere of the team can be described with the following words; inclusive, teamwork, and relaxed attitude.

What will your main responsibilities and tasks be?

As a test field engineer, you are responsible for measurement technology and system communication (CAN) i.e. to assist our test cell engineers and customers with expertise. You will contribute with technical solutions in the development of our test facilities and troubleshooting.

Your main tasks will therefore consist of..


• Develop and troubleshoot communication between test equipment and test objects.
• Develop and be responsible for measurement technology within the group.

To succeed in this role we believe that you are a team player who values close cooperation with your colleagues. You are good at and enjoy establishing communication paths with the other experts within the company, but also with internal and external suppliers. Additionally, we see a person who actively takes initiative and seeks challenges with a performance-oriented mindset. We believe you have the ability to adjust your actions to what the situation requires with a positive attitude, despite setbacks. You are structured, have good coordination skills, and enjoy working with details whilst being able to see the big picture.

We would also like that..


• You have a bachelor’s degree in electrical, system communication, measurement technology, or equivalent work experience.
• You write and speak fluently in English. If you write and speak fluently in Swedish, it is a merit.

Work experience within the area, knowledge from the automotive industry, and working at Scania is also highly meritorious.
