Test Manager/Tester, Scania IT

If you are enthusiastic, analytical and have a background from software development and like to work within Purchasing IT systems and it's environments this could be the right challenge for you. As our Test Manager you will work within department Product Development IT, responsible for delivering IT to Scania's product development process - including Purchasing at Scania.

Job description
In this role you need to have a good understanding of the IT system development lifecycle and be used to work in agile way with good knowledge in test discipline including test automatization. We work with own build and bought applications.

Your main tasks will be:
.to plan, coordinate/manage test resources, execute/perform tests for different changes, from Change Request to Projects concerning changes in IT supporting Purchasing at Scania
.report and follow up on trouble reports in respective tools (i.e. JIRA)
.manage test cases, environments and test data
.ensure that GUI design guidelines and other principles are followed
Competence profile
For the position of Test Manager/Tester, you must be positive to participate in improving testing, test methods and tools. This should be complemented by either a background as a developer with several years' experience working with testing with focus on web application testing, or a solid business knowledge within Purchasing/Logistics (preferably from Scania) and a deep interest to establish a new career within testing and IT development. University degree in IT is essential. In addition to Swedish, you need to be proficient in written and spoken English.

You like working in a team, but it is also important that you can take the initiative and work independently.
