Tissue Creping Specialist

Böhler Uddeholm Precision Strip is a member of the Voestalpine AG group, a leading steel company with approximately 40 000 employees world-wide. Böhler Uddeholm Precision Strip has been a leading supplier to the pulp and paper industry for more than 40 years. The company is producing creping doctor blades with excellent creping performances and additional expertise is now needed, and we are therefore looking for a new employee in the area of tissue making.

As our Tissue Creping Specialist you will be our tissue making specialist with both process- and tissue technology knowledge. You will act as technical support internally and conduct creping test runs at our customers tissue mills. The position requires extensive knowledge of the tissue making process and involves the product properties of various tissue qualities and how the creping process parameters affect the different product properties. The job will require extensive travelling, locally and internationally.

We think that you have a few years of experience from the pulp and paper industry, preferably with practical experience from a tissue mill.

As a person you are proactive, hands-on and quick to solve various technical problems. You are positive, outgoing and understand the importance of customer focus. You are expected to deliver service and quality. Your English skills in writing and oral are excellent and further language knowledge is positive.

You will be a member in our team of positive and highly skilled employees, and you will have the possibility to develop professionally and take responsibility. The position belongs to the market development part of R&D, reporting to the R&D Director and you will be based in Munkfors, Sweden.
