TMF is looking for a Legal Executive to join our team in Stockholm!

Arbetsbeskrivning

As a Legal Executive, you will be responsible to ensure timely and quality deliverables of excellent services to the assigned portfolio of Entity Management clients. You will work in close cooperation and under supervision of Team Leader for Global Entity Management services in Sweden.
Key responsibilities
Ensure the collection and filing of client and/or TMF documents according to agreed filing procedures and maintain client files complete and in a good order;
Maintain the relation with the external legal suppliers (lawyers and public notaries);
Perform field work if required, collects and prepares the file necessary for the obtaining documents required by TMF or client;
Keep up to date with changes in legislation and informs superiors on the changes;
Identify and communicate effectively any legal non-compliance issues related both to TMF and clients;
Assist clients and coordination of special cosec projects, i.e. shareholders’ and board resolutions, health checks, mergers;
Assist clients with incorporations, acquisitions or liquidations of the entities;
Close coordination with Team Leader in respect of on-boarding / intake of new clients and respective tax and legal registrations, KYC coordination;
Any other ad-hoc activities, i.e. registrations, notifications to the respective registrar and tax authorities, obtaining of extracts, documents from collection of deeds, etc., arranging of apostille, translations and intermediations of official translations, arranging confirmations from authorities (Swedish Company Registration Office, tax authority, labour office, social security office, etc.), assistance with opening client bank accounts including assistance with collecting KYC for the bank on behalf of the clients, arranging bank documents once requested (e.g. specimen signatures, notices, communications, etc.), assistance in preparation of special corporate documents
Compliance work including collecting and performing client compliance / AML due diligence reviews from the local and Group perspective;
Collaborate with external parties on compliance matters;

Key requirements
Master of Laws (LL.M). Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or other relevant educational background;
Minimum of three years’ working experience in a similar role, preferably in a law firm or professional, large organization;
Hands-on mentality, coordinating capacity and excellent planning skills;
Strong communication skills, fluent in both English and Swedish;
Result oriented.
