Our client is a global company that is facing a period of intense expansion with many new stores on existing and new markets. They are looking for a traffic specialist to join their Store Design and Retail Architecture department in Helsingborg!

As a traffic specialist you support the development of the infrastructure around IKEA’s sites in urban and rural locations, for new store establishments and major rebuild around the world. You work with the design of parking and roads around the stores to secure traffic capacity, safety and efficiency for visitors coming with all modes of transport and with an interest of creating an inspiring outdoor environment. You will also participate in the continuous development of traffic, parking and mobility management within the company.
Since you support the establishment process, you will work with architects and specialists, the local retailers and external consultants. You will use both hand sketches, ArchiCAD, Capcal and Microsoft Office to communicate and explain your solutions. You can look forward to work in a developing environment with many possibilities, where you will find new ways and methods to meet the many customers!

Today you are a traffic engineer or work with traffic related issues, with several years of experience. It is an advantage if you have worked with traffic related issues in a retail environment. Since the company cooperate with people all over the world you are comfortable with a multicultural environment and to speak and write in English. You are also prepared to travel.
You are socially skilled and find it easy to build relations and earn trust. You have good communicative skills and show enthusiasm, drive and determination in what you do. You also take responsibility for action and results and make things happen. Naturally, you are also contributing to the company’s shared vision by being non-prestigious, open and straightforward when cooperating with others. Furthermore, you are cost conscious and know that everything has its price.
