Academic Work is on behalf of our client Modular Management looking for a Senior Management Consultant.

Academic Work is responsible for the recruitment process but the candidate that proceed will be employed directly by Modular Management.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As a Senior Management Consultant, you will lead cross-functional programs at major industrial/product companies that range from a few months to several years. You will lead a team of experts in areas such as modularization, supply chain management, mechanical design and product configuration. You are working in different workflows at the customer’s office 3 days a week, which means travelling/overnights. The customers are mainly located in northern Europe.

For example, you will:


* Drive challenging and complex programs through all phases: formulate, create, implement and govern.
* Be Modular Management's contact person for the customer where you report to management or project management.
* Participate in various types of meetings such as workshops, project management meetings and advise in meetings with external suppliers.

We see that several backgrounds may be relevant for the position. You can work in a leading role in business development/product development/production development within a major industry/product company. You can also be a management consultant today and work towards technology/manufacturing companies where you may be attracted to the modularization and configuration concept and Modular Management's corporate culture. Another possible background is that you work at a technology consultancy, want a strategic role in the projects, and to see the entire value chain.

Specifically, we see that you have:


* At least a few years of experience in a leading position in product development/ production development, where you have run projects and delegated tasks
* Master of Science in Engineering, you may also have a Master within Business but then also acquired deeper technical skills in working life
* Excellent English skills


It is advantageously if you:


* Have experience in Management Consulting, Change Management or Strategy Development
* Knowledge in Swedish as well as other European languages


As a person, you have a strong drive and work result-oriented. You have a very good strategic ability, which is necessary when you work on complex large projects that last for several years. You have an ability to notice changes at the company, see obstacles, business opportunities and re-prioritize projects based on this. You identify important persons in projects and develop relationships to reach your goals.
