Transport Process Planner to Getinge Infection Control AB

As Transport Process Planner at the central function Logistics Services you will be responsible for and part of the business area's global transportation planning and execution, aiming at optimized cost, availability and delivery service. Your main areas of responsibility include:

. Day-to-day transport planning and booking in the dedicated Logistics management system
. Ad hoc planning of special transports
. Monitoring and solving of any delivery problems that may occur
. Development of solutions for operational problems own to the assigned area and continuously strive towards efficient and effective operations
. Process development within the assigned area
. Maintaining efficient contact with internal stakeholders (Factories and Sales & Service units) with the objective to provide a central point of contact for external logistics

Qualifications
You have the ability to plan, prioritize and coordinate multiple open problems and challenges, along with a cooperative mindset and willingness to provide excellent service. You have a relevant university degree in logistics/business/engineering and/or several years' experience from similar tasks. You are an experienced user of IT systems, preferably from the use of logistics/transportation management systems or systems with equivalent complexity. The right candidate thrives on improvement opportunities and will be given the opportunity to aid the organization in the development of logistics and transport management solutions.

A prerequisite for this position is an ability to communicate and solve problems efficiently together with forwarders and internal stakeholders globally. Hence, an excellent command of the Swedish and English languages is required. Experience from international freight forwarding (road/air/ocean) is of added value.
