We are in the process of setting up a regional marketing function and are expanding our business by recruiting two Regional Product Managers – one with focus on “Patient in bed & Patient Therapy” and one with focus on “Patient out of bed”. The positions are new and offer a great opportunity for two creative and results-oriented individuals to make a difference and to take our marketing activities to the next level!

The position
The purpose of the role is to manage and coordinate all aspects of leading and driving the product category within the region, in conjunction with country teams and global and regional management. The function will act as the enabler between the local markets and our Global Marketing department and will report to VP Marketing & Business Development International Mature Markets (IMM).

The Product Manager will lead and support all go to market activities - from forming a main IMM strategy per category and segment, to tactics including launch plans and campaigns. The function will give regional input to Global marketing regarding new product development. Further, the Product Manager will be the clear voice of the IMM region and will get input through leading and facilitating regional Working groups. An important area is to make sure the good ideas and approaches within the region are systematically spread from one country to all the other countries. The Product Manager will also represent the region internally in terms of supply and quality of products.

Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
• Develop and align global and regional strategy and positioning for the category
• Drive strategy implementation within the region together with country teams
• Develop the yearly marketing plan for the region
• Innovate and develop campaigns and promotions
• Act as the catalyst and enabler between the countries in the region and with Global marketing and systematically share good ideas and approaches
• Generate launch plans for new products and assist in launch activities in the region
• Identify and define product portfolio gaps and address with Global marketing
• Capturing and analyzing Voice of Customer, competitive activity and market trends
• Work with a solution based approach within own category and with the other categories

The job is mainly office based (Malmö) and communication will be enabled via high quality IT and telecom channels. International travel is estimated to 20 nights per annum.

The International Mature Markets region is the largest region in ArjoHuntleigh covering Canada, the Western European markets and Oceania. The “Patient in bed & Patient Therapy” category covers Medical Beds, Mattresses and DVT, and the “Patient out of bed” category cover Patient Handling.eqiupment.

The ideal candidate
Ideally for the position you have a Product, Commercial, Business or Marketing Management background with high numeracy. Experience from Medical Devices would be a benefit. At least five years in a similar (national/regional) role is essential.

Some of your key characteristics include:
• A Master degree in Business, Marketing or Science / Engineering is preferred
• Excellent analytical skills, excellent communication skills, time management & project management skills and negotiation skills
• Capable of developing, presenting and gaining approval for key product/segment strategies at Senior management level
• Experience of market analysis and customer research is needed.
• Strong English both verbal and in writing is required
• Self-motivated, pro-active and resilient attitude, team player, internationally oriented, excellent interpersonal skills, innovative & creative and results oriented
