Beginning of your career? Unilever is now looking for a Demand Planner to work in the Foods Planning team, Solna

As a Demand planner you will be expected to execute the volume forecasting for a specific category of products in Sweden and to be a key player in the Sales & Operation Planning Process within the company.

The position starts with a temporary assignment for 7 month with possibility of extension.
Start date: Ideally September the 1st

Key responsibilities:

- Deliver and create integrated volume demand plan for a specific category of products by taking an active part in the Sales & Operational Planning Process.

- Analyze the demand plans in detail and challenge the sales, marketing and category management to improve the plans.

- Understand and record demand drivers and assumptions behind the baseline sales, identify risks and opportunities and highlight gaps in the demand plan vs. target

- Highlight potential or current stock issues to other functions.

- Follow and maintain the KPI reporting in order to improve the forecasting process.

- Manage obsolete risks in the portfolio.


Your background:

We are looking for you who are recently graduated in Economics preferably within the Logistics area, or have 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain. Ideally you have working knowledge of SAP/R3 and Excel. Fluent in Swedish and English is a requirement.

As a person you have the ability to build great relationships and think and act across functions and along processes. We also want you to be analytical and structured together with a good team spirit and great communication skills. The right candidate needs to have a strong drive, ability to challenge in order to continuously improve and be proactive towards issues and the capacity to easily create a holistic picture out of details.
