What we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced Grants Expert to further strengthen Uniper’s Hydrogen Team in Sweden. The role is part of the Uniper Hydrogen Business Line which includes in addition to Sweden the UK, Netherlands and Germany. Business Line Hydrogen works as one team within the company utilizing the resources from the whole Uniper Group. The position will be located in either Stockholm or Malmö.
In this role you will have the opportunity to support the implementation of one of the main future-oriented initiatives of Uniper with high strategical relevance. Your main responsibilities would be to:
Transact Public Aid (governmental subsidy schemes) on EU Level and Swedish level for our Swedish Hydrogen business
Manage the complete filing and submission of subsidy application process in strong alignment and cooperation with the project teams
Manage the complete reporting line to fulfil the requirements from subsidy / funding programmes for public funded H2 projects
Assess and optimize Hydrogen subsidy schemes in Sweden e.g., via desk research, expert interviews, network activities on available subsidy schemes based on Uniper’s Hydrogen strategy
Optimize aim of subsidy scheme mechanisms, criteria and volume (€/%)
Assess key selection criteria for subsidy schemes
Evaluate overall subsidy scheme landscape in Sweden
Conduct gap-analysis on Uniper direction versus subsidy scheme landscape
Find the right match between project ideas and subsidies, and generate new project ideas which fit to available subsidies
Support and train the Swedish Hydrogen Team on how to prepare and set up funding applications in time and quality, as well as support other Uniper departments in Sweden (and Uniper customers) regarding subsidy related topics
Closely cooperate with Uniper’s Corporate Governmental Relations and Corporate Communication
Support Uniper’s representation in Swedish associations with relevance to hydrogen especially with focus subsidies
Remain focussed on creating our Tomorrow by championing and delivering continual improvement

Uniper is part of Sweden's critical infrastructure and our operations are covered by, among other things, rules related to protective security, export control and nuclear non-proliferation. We will therefore carry out security clearance of all positions and complement with register control for security classified positions, according to the Protection Security Act. Health and drug tests are performed if applicable.
Uniper is positive to a flexible approach around remote working based on the conditions of the business and the individual employee.
Who we are seeking
You have a university degree in a relevant field such as economics or business and at least 5 years of professional experience. Analytical skills and expertise in execution and administration of grants awarded are essential. You also have a good understanding of European and Swedish Funding landscape, as well as a subsidies focused network is beneficial. As a person you are creative and open-minded, with a fresh mindset and good communication skills. In addition, you are capable and confident in handling diverse topics in parallel.
You are expected to be/have:
Ability to quickly connect with others and build relationships with key customers and partners, both internal to Uniper and externally
Conceptual and analytical way of thinking, combined with the ability to prioritize and describe complex topics in an understandable manner
Fluent in oral and written Swedish, with professional command of English (additional knowledge of another language of a Uniper core country is beneficial)
Willingness to travel within Sweden on a regular basis, as well as to other European countries, up to 20%.
