Unit Project Leader – Complete Vehicle

As the Unit Project Leader for Complete Vehicle you and your colleagues from Vehicle Integration are overall responsible for achieving a very competitive and high performing vehicle with the right balance to attract the customers on the different global markets. You will work cross functional with the team of R&D, marketing, Industrial design and Product Planning.

The unit Vehicle Integration leads all complete vehicle activities as CAE, Attributes, Concept and Geometrical integration, Hardware build and complete vehicle verification. We make sure the Car will have the right vehicle performance characteristics and balance


Responsibilities and tasks
• Responsibility for managing all complete vehicle activities as attributes, package, verification within platform and vehicle projects.
• Create and communicate overall timing and deliverables during the project phases, drawing release, verification, launch etc. from project start to start of production.
• Secure that the right targets and balance are made within the attribute and package teams as well on other complete vehicle level areas
• Create tactic and strategic project plans for the complete vehicles project
• Lead and solve complexed engineering issues.
• Report overall timing, status, issues and solution on vehicle level
• Member of the project core team and assist the Technical project leader
• Reporting to the Vice President Vehicle Integration in all project matters

Profile and Background
We are looking for someone with:
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent
• Experience from leading attribute areas within automotive industry.
• Experience from leading compete vehicle activities within the automotive industry
• Knowledge of automotive architecture definitions, concepts, standards and requirements
• Strong personal drive and motivation with ability to take initiative and drive issues
• Analytic and problem solving mindset
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with senior management and other organizations
• Passion for engineering and product excellence
• Strong in motivate and engage people to solve issues and move forward
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, growing and developing organization
• Fluent in English, spoken and written.
• You have a cultural awareness and experience, especially Chinese – European culture
