Unit Project Leader – Interior

We are looking for a dedicated Unit Project Leader to strengthen our Interior team. The position reports to Vice President Interior.

Your responsibility will be to drive and align projects on Unit level, cross the complete Interior area. You will coordinate the development work of the system areas within Interior and see to that project targets of cost, timing and performance are met. This role will support the System Managers and Module Team Directors with project deliveries and reports and you will take lead in solving cross functional issues.

Responsibilities and tasks

- Unit level project leader for assigned projects
- Driving, planning and supporting the Module and System teams deliveries into the projects
- Securing project target fulfillment
- Ensuring project progress and provide status reports.
- Running project meetings on unit level and participate in various vehicle level project meetings
- Cascade project info to VP, MTDs and System Managers
- Coordinating and align the development work of the module and system areas when needed
- Supporting VP and MTDs to balance product decisions
- Supporting task forces

Requirements

- BSc. or M.Sc. in engineering
- Minimum 10 years’ experience of Automotive engineering
- Experience of project management according to common car industry development systems
- Experience within Interior development is required
- Excellent in co-operation, networking, team-working
- You are a skilled user in Microsoft Office and you have minimum basic knowledge of Teamcenter Engineering
- Driven, problem solver who takes initiatives and responds to changing priorities
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Cultural awareness, especially Asian – European culture
- Ability to travel
