PayTV Nordic Web & App Development

The PayTV Nordic Web & App Development Team is responsible for the digital interfaces for Viasat in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. We manage the continued innovation and development of new and existing digital channels and the on-going sales and support through the full customer life-cycle. We are responsible for realizing the Viasat digital vision, concept design, interaction design, design research and visual design, quality control and development to create the future of the PayTV digital interface. The role as User Experience Expert

User-Centered Design (UCD) is a multidisciplinary design approach based on the active involvement of users to improve the understanding of user and task requirements, and the iteration of design and evaluation. It is widely considered the key to product usefulness and usability an effective approach to overcoming the limitations of traditional system-centered design. As User Experience Expert you will drive and perform activities within digital interface development, required for UCD at Viasat.


Responsibilities

Scope of UX Expert role:



• Work as a UX designer

• Contribute to the iterative design process from translating customer and business needs to concepts and design.

• Create conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and detailed visual mock-ups to communicate design ideas and precise interaction behaviours.

• Work closely with Nordic situated cross-functional teams and collaborate with product managers, developers, operations, and designers.

• Contribute in project planning efforts such as time and resource estimation.

• Conduct usability testing, surveys, A/B testing and user research to analyze and verify design.

• Help the department to continuously improve the way we develop products.


Qualifications

To suceed in this role you need to have:



• A Masters or equivalent in subjects such as interaction design, human-computer interaction or related subjects

• Native in Swedish both written and spoken

• Very good English both written and spoken

• Experience working as an interaction designer/UX-designer

• Strong conceptual design skills and an eye for detail

• Special interest in web applications, mobile applications and TV applications


Personal Skills



• Creative and drives new ideas

• Team player with strong communication skills. The role includes close collaboration with developers, product managers, other designers, web analytics managers and management

• You are a self-starter with the ability to manage ambiguity and multi-tasking
