User Experience Specialist
HemoCue develops, produces and markets medical diagnostic products that are fast, reliable and easy to use. We are now looking for a User Experience (UX) Specialist who will be working in a global environment with exciting and innovative products.

Along with talented and experienced colleagues, you will have the opportunity to develop in your professional role. We offer an exciting position where you as a part of a project team will work with providing HemoCue customers with user-friendly solutions and products.

Your work assignments

The role was created based on the need to better integrate user feedback early on in the design process of new products. In this position you will be involved in exciting projects where you will have the responsibility for planning, performing and evaluating activities within your area of expertise.

You will collaborate with other UX specialists in our global organization, the closest being in Denmark and you will be the appointed expert in the head office in Ängelholm.

You will have the responsibility for all activities concerning UX, both software and “look and feel”, making sure our products, apps and instruments are understood and used the way our commercial and R&D teams intend. Your task is to challenge designers, engineers and developers to think in terms of user abilities. As a central, vital and decisive specialist you will co-ordinate the UX work and implement it in our organization. The purpose of the role is to add end user ability into product development resulting in better products.

Your background

To be the systematic and team-oriented UX Specialist that we are looking for, we believe that you have at least 3 years of experience from UX and user ability testing. Preferably you have professional experience within the medical technology or life science industry, or you might have been a user of our products.

You have a higher education within a suitable technical field or within behavioral science. You must master English in speech and writing. Swedish is beneficial but not a must.

On a personal level, you have the ability to take action in solving problems while exhibiting sound judgment. Equally valuable are communication and interaction skills, needed to attend to customer needs and transmitting information in a clear and concise way to other stakeholders. You will have many interfaces so if you are outgoing and team oriented you will enjoy and excel in this role! Like the rest of the R&D department, you are solution oriented and recognize the importance of attentions to details. We place great emphasis on personal qualities for this position.
