UX Designer, Mobile App

Arbetsbeskrivning

The UX team at Lynk & Co is responsible for designing coherent user experiences across our various digital touchpoints. One of them is our recently redesigned and Red Dot awarded mobile app where customers can access the car’s connectivity features and use our peer-to-peer car sharing service.

For a key role in our customer-facing developments on the Mobile App side, we are now looking for

UX Designer

You’ll be identifying behaviours, user needs and pain points along the customer journey. Based on a design brief with aligned goals, insights and requirements, you’ll create initial design concepts for app features and flows, which will undergo further refinement into detailed design, continuously refined and user-tested all the way to final delivery and launch, followed by continuous improvement.

As a part of the UX team, you promote the user-centric way of working, providing and training design expertise to the mobile app product teams together with your fellow app designer.

Role is based in Gothenburg.

What you'll do

- Be a team player. Take your time to sit with the product teams, explain your design intent, be open to the team's input, and take this as input to refine your designs.

- Improve our design system and work together with the development team to support the implementation of reusable components to build a scalable UI library the developers can use.

- Translate business requirements into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and rapid prototypes for iOS and Android platforms that optimize for a wide range of devices and interfaces.

- Make design decisions based on customer insights, collected data and best practices, and gain a deep understanding of the business and our customers’ needs

- Test your design and flows continuously, formal way or guerilla style, to quickly gain feedback.

- Challenge the status quo, identify opportunities, and suggest improvements.

What you bring

- Minimum of 3 years of experience designing digital products.

- Experience with designing mobile apps for Android and iOS with a good knowledge of mastering native transitions and micro-interactions.

- Eye for visual design and details to support development teams nailing the overall experience.

- Work experience in Figma with design systems and prototypes.

To succeed in the role, you need to be able to manage strong stakeholders and be an advocate for our customers, ensuring user needs and requirements are properly addressed.
