Your mission
You will be part of the OD team inside its Compliance area (testing, V&V, certification, IP) and ensure that products manufactured by Schneider Electric (mainly in our Mora plant), is compliant with required technical and quality specifications

Main responsibilities
•Arrange/perform tests according to product development road-map (Cable Support activity)
•General maintenance of the laboratory of Mora plant providing all required means to work in full safety conditions and maintaining the calibration plan for all relevant tests equipment according to ISO 9001
•Support external visits to the Mora plant - customers, audits or third party certification bodies, etc. when specific tests are required for these visits
•Participate in the definition of the Compliance requirements at the beginning of a project (technical specifications, standards to follow, tests needed, certifications, etc.)
•Participate in the definition of Validation & Verification plan in projects, with special focus on the tests needed.
•Support in the building or maintenance of the Technical Files, mostly delivering all information related to tests and its connection with the related product standards.
•Support when needed, the design activities thanks to the product knowledge acquired when testing.
•Have a full control on the key standards for all tests performance, i.e. IEC 61537 (Cable trays and ladders systems), DIN 4102 (Fire resistance for cable trays), NEMA VE1 (Cable trays USA), and other related electrotechnical related standards, etc.
•Act as liaison between Mora plant and the rest of the OD team.

Required skills & knowledge
•Mechanical Engineering, clear understanding and right interpretation of the testing activity and different mechanical concepts to be applied the daily activity: Tensile strength, torque, momentums, resistance of materials, characterization of metallic raw materials and their key parameters, standards, etc.
•Metals standards knowledge Calibration methods and ISO 9001 standard knowledge about testing and calibrations.
•Need of a clear oral/written communication with the rest of OD team in Spain/India and other third parties.
•Fluent Swedish and English
•Ability to prioritize when bottle necks, establishing proposals and connecting the different parties to take decisions
•Basics in 3D modeling as a tool to establish the different mechanical systems mainly for testing activities but also to support the design function.
•Simulation tools as a nice to have (like Ansys).
•Medium/High level in MS- Excel.
•Customer satisfaction - deliver the projects at the right level of safety/quality and timing, must be your driver.

To succeed in this role you need to be proactive, result oriented, entrepreneurial and communicative. Your educational background should include industrial engineering e.g. a Bachelor or Master in mechanics or electro mechanics. Your background should include 3 year experience in the field of engineering, methods, industrialization, design or testing.
