VAT Controller till Dentsply IH AB

Job description

DENTSPLY IH AB is currently looking to strengthen their organization with a VAT Controller for the Nordic Reporting Group. Finance Nordic supports the two business areas Wellspect HealthCare and Dentsply Sirona Implants, as well as other business areas within the Dentsply Sirona Group. The position is located at our site in Mölndal, Sweden and will report directly to the Country Controller Nordic.

As VAT Controller in the Nordic Reporting Group you will hold a key position and work closely with your colleagues within Finance and support the organization regarding VAT and tax matters. The role involves preparing monthly tax declarations, participation in monthly and annual accounts as well as yearend closing. The position prepares analysis of VAT, social costs and pensions and is involved in analysis and calculation of corporate taxation. You will ensure quality and compliance with existing processes and legislation, as well as initiate and implement improvements.



Qualifications

We expect you to hold a Bachelor’s degree within accounting, including taxation. Furthermore you have a minimum of 3-5 years of work experience within accounting or auditing, preferably in an international environment. You have a genuine interest in VAT and tax accounting and previous experience of managing projects and seeking improvements within the field.

We work in a changing environment and it is essential that you are flexible, positive and have a down-to-earth approach. You are a team player, have excellent communication skills and providing service is vital to you. Handling questions on various levels of complexity regarding VAT and tax is a day-to-day task. You want to specialize and develop within this area of expertise.
The role requires fluency in English and Swedish, verbally and written. Preferably you are familiar with Movex and/or AX.
