The Vehicle Analysis group within the Chassis Strategies & Vehicle Analysis department develops, secures, and verifies complete vehicle features in the areas of active safety, durability, transport -efficiency by use of complete vehicle simulations. We have close co-operation with the design and test departments, and perform work for all Volvo GTT development sites.

For a limited project assignment with location at site Gothenburg we are now looking for a:

Vehicle Analyst, Vehicle Analysis (BF72991)

Task and Responsibilities:
As a Vehicle Analyst you will by complete vehicle analysis develop, secure and verify vehicle performance in the area of durability, ride comfort and handling.
In vehicle projects verify feature targets and provide load data for dimensioning of system/modules.
Support development of feature targets.
Develop analysis methods.

Your main tools will be Nastran and Matlab

Profile and qualifications:
MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering with an orientation towards analysis.
Experienced in structural analysis and related methods and tools.
Experienced in signal processing.
Experienced in product data management systems.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Structured and analytical with a drive to work on your own initiative.
