Position Description
The product teams at complete powertrain, are multidisciplinary teams taking care of the complete life cycle of the D11, D13, D16 and alternative fuels products. We drive the evolution of all features, validate, and verify our products to meet the highest quality demands. We analyze data provided from our colleagues to solve costumer issues and propose improvements for our products to drive prosperity. We put together our different personalities, skills, knowledge, and experience to solve issues and make decision, the diversity present in our teams makes our teams stronger. In this role as Verification leader (VL) for D16 you will define, lead, coordinate and follow up verification activities in the project in order to optimize the verification activities. Manage Engineering Approval process for Durability and Reliability feature. The VL manages the verification of the feature Durability and Reliability in the project. The VL is responsible for the projects durability and reliability verification plan. The VL is responsible for the verification activities in test cells, rigs and vehicles within durability and reliability, the systems and components functionality where daily contact with test engineers is key. The VL give the EA (Engineering Approval) for durability and reliability prior to each gate. The Verification leader is responsible for budget connected to responsible area within the project.

Desired qualification, experience and qualities:
MSc. Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Automotive engineering or adequate technical education or equivalent work experience
Proven leadership skills with ability to inspire, drive, motivate and coach team members
Experience from Project management and project planning
Experience from Agile development
Several years of experience in verification and validation
Fluency in English, written and spoken
Hands-on experience with test rigs and similar environments
Reliability knowledge on heavy duty complete Powertrain
Verification and validation tools
Leadership skills – Lead technical leaders and component responsible to give input to create V&V plan
Information comprehension and decision-making skills – Able to collect information and base on it take decision regarding the activities needed to secure feature fulfillment
Analytical skills



Main Responsibilities
Create and update a verification plan including simulation to motivate why and when tests are needed. The plan should cover the complete project scope for verification.
VL is responsible for the verification plan for the platform project.
Participate in risk analysis and FMEA.
Responsible for verification by simulation and activities in test cells, rigs and vehicles.
Follow up the verification status (test hours) on critical components
Support Platform organization, Chief Engineers and Global System Responsibles, in verification aspects
Participate in fault report meetings providing input and participate in status evaluation for lab and project reports, (assembly for information)
Manage and drive the Design Requirements on product attribute level and verification sheet on subsystem level
