A world-class challenge
The importance of corporate responsibility has been growing tremendously during the past 5-10 years and business ethics, environment and energy efficiency, social aspects, etc. is today high on the agenda in many companies. A committed work in these areas not only strengthens the corporate brand but also increases operational efficiencies. Major achievements instill pride among employees and attract future employees.

Corporate responsibility is to develop and implement corporate responsibility guidelines and policies, and by providing support and training to Atlas Copco companies to make it happen.

It is also about communicating the Group?s sustainability work and efforts to achieve Group goals in safeguarding high ethical values, and environmental and social performance. The main tools in this respect are the Business Code of Practice, the Annual Report with sustainability information, on-line media (the web/intranet), and various training modules. The goals for sustainable, profitable development give guidance and show our high ambitions.

We are looking for a Vice President Corporate Responsibility, who will safeguard that we continue to improve our sustainability work and communicate our achievements.

Your mission
As Vice President Corporate Responsibility you will be the Group's spokesperson in all related issues. You will manage the communication of the achievements within corporate responsibility, including safety, health and environment. Communication is also the main tool to drive change.

Annually you will lead the work with the sustainability information in the annual report, and regularly be responsible for answering questions/questionnaires from various rating institutes and/or from students. The rating results are critical for the perception of Atlas Copco's achievements and we have an ambition to stay an industry benchmark.

Raising awareness among employees in corporate responsibility areas require relevant training and awareness programs, which you will help develop and launch. This regards for example the Business Code of Practice and adjacent areas within social and environmental aspects such as a resource efficiency awareness program (under way).

Your will organize stakeholder dialogues ? meetings with NGOs, stakeholders and internal experts ? to give and get feedback on the Group sustainability efforts and how it can improve. Frequently, you will represent Atlas Copco in internal and external meetings and networks.

You must proactively learn about current trends and legislations to make sure our work is in the front line.

You will report to the Senior Vice President Corporate Communication. You will work tightly with other members of Group Management as well as with Holding managers/Corporate Communications at Holdings. You will also be a member in the Group Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Council and be a member of the Group's Compliance Board.

Your knowledge
You have a degree in journalism, business administration, law, sustainability or in public/international relations.
Fluent in Swedish and English (more languages is an advantage) and you are a very good writer.
Knowledge of international ethical guidelines and legislation.

Your personality
You have leadership and/or project management experience, as well as analytical skills. You are very organized and efficient. You have social skills and must be able to handle stressful and unexpected situations.
