Sandvik is a global industrial group with advanced products and world-leading positions in selected areas - tools for metal cutting, equipment and tools for the mining and construction industries, stainless materials, special alloys, metallic and ceramic resistance materials, as well as process systems.

Group Communication is responsible for Sandvik's corporate communication on a global level. The function sets guidelines and supports business areas and country organizations in communication: brand management, external and internal communication, media contacts and PR, web and crisis communication for Sandvik AB. We are now looking for a Vice President (VP) for Internal Communication who wants to be a part of a dynamic group and responsible for the future internal communication within Sandvik. The location for this position is Stockholm.

Key performance areas
As VP of Internal Communication you will be responsible for the Group internal communication. You are responsible for ensuring that the communication supports the company's business strategy and goals, vision and core values, as well as creates brand pride and commitment, a good understanding of the current business situation and ongoing priorities/initiatives. The position includes staff responsibility, including budgeting and personnel development. Your main areas of responsibility will include:
- Strategic communication planning
- Speaking partner in communication issues
- Support for Group functions
- Social media
- Developing and managing internal channels and communication material
- Managing and finding new channels, methods and templates to ensure optimal efficiency and a positive communication climate
- Quality assurance

You will be part of the Communication management team and report to the Executive Vice President and Head of Group Communications.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a university degree in Communication or Journalism and five to ten years' broad experience within the communication area. You have good business understanding and are very experienced in internal communications in a global environment. You have knowledge and an understanding of different communication processes and methods, and you have previously worked with communication planning and are used to working with different communication agencies. Personnel management experience is required, as well as excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. Further, you have also demonstrated good business understanding.

To be successful in this position you need to have a strategic approach and no fear of making decisions. You have the ability to plan, organize and prioritize your work and the work of others in an efficient manner. Additionally, you have social confidence, take initiative, work independently and have an interest in promoting and carrying out changes.
