Then we are seeking a Vice President to lead our global Medical & Scientific Affairs team, and it might be just the right challenge for you. 

As Vice President Medical & Scientific Affairs within our wider Commercialization & Customer Engagement team, you will report to the Senior Vice President, and be part of an ambitious, and impactful management team. The role is full time and based at the headquarters in Hyllie or potentially another of our global offices.

 

About the job

As the Vice President you will lead a diverse team with clinical, research, education and KOL management medtech experience.  The Vice Presidents responsibilities include:


• The development of the Global Medical & Science strategy including the publication strategy building on new scientific insights and product development in alignment with the Global Project Teams
• Responsible for our clinical trials
• Ensure scientific alignment and facilitate that scientific knowledge is appropriately communicated and understood internally and externally from global to local across the world
• External liaison between Atos Medical and the scientific community
• Responsible for Clinical Evaluations in accordance with MDR regulations

Working closely with our markets and Global Functions, you will play an important role in delivering on our growth ambition.

 

Your main responsibilities will be to:


• Generate clinical evidence and data in support of market access, price premiums, regulatory compliance (CE mark and PMS) and in support of clinical pathways and standard of care
• Provide clinical education content for external (Atos Learning Institute) and internal stakeholders in support of new product launches, new and ongoing marketing campaigns and standard of care
• Support the organization with (written) materials such as Literature Reviews, LitAlerts, Clinical Summaries and Whitepapers to facilitate evidence-base selling and evidence-based support of standard of care (Evidence & Experience)
• Define strategic direction for the Medical & Science department
• Develop and execute on clinical trials
• Medical Education
• Act as a sparring partner, implementation, and execution support for our core markets

 

About you

We are looking for a team player with a strong personal drive and commercial mindset that want to create results together with the markets and can challenge our region to deliver growth. To be successful in the role, you need to be strong in identifying commercial growth opportunities and managing several projects simultaneously.

 

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate has considerable experience working with laryngectomy and tracheostomy

Moreover, the following qualifications must be met:


• Medical Doctor, SLP or similar. Strong business acumen as well as a clinical and research background.
• You bring at least 8 years of relevant working experience, ideally in a combination from industry and public sector
• Extensive Medical Affairs and/or Clinical Development experience
• People or project management experience with a focus on people development and building high performing teams
• Strong cross functional leadership skills with evidence of strategic, tactical, and operational leadership
• Therapeutic expertise/previous pharma experience in the field of cardiology is a plus
• Outstanding presenting and motivational skills
• You have experience in understanding global and local needs and transform them into impactful initiatives that can be adopted in core markets
• Ability and ambition to travel 20- 40 days yearly – based on non-Covid19 influenced times
• Experience working across different countries and cultures
