Vice President Project Office

Vice President Project Office is a challenging senior position with a high influence on project management excellence in the Volvo Group. The responsibility covers Global Management of projects that are delegated from Range Managers. The position has the responsibility to lead the local project offices on sites and develop tools and methods for improved Project Management. The position will be the host for the Volvo Group Institute for Project Management.

Mission
Drive Global Project Management and lead local site project offices to meet expected quality, cost and feature targets in due time. Manage the project portfolio for most efficient execution. Work in close cooperation with Range Managers to secure proper project deliveries as well as contribute with development of project management excellence.

Main Activities and Core Responsibilities
- Deliver the agreed and committed overall objectives for the Global and local Project Offices
- Secure deliveries of new products, updates and maintenance
- Act in close co-operation with other AB Volvo units globally to efficiently develop and deliver services and products with the right Quality, Delivery time and Cost within agreed budget.
- Actively support overall company programs and policies.

Experience Required
- A Master?s degree in Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years? experience from a Senior management position
- Able to demonstrate successful international business experience within a global network
- Strong global leadership
- Successful record in driving extensive projects
- Broad generalist profile with cross-functional background would be valuable
- Excellent understanding of the commercial vehicle industry and business analyses
- Able to demonstrate a clear vision, global mindset and successful people & culture leadership
- Show a real talent for global and cultural integration
- Needs to have a good understanding of the Volvo Group Businesses
- As all documentation is in English, proficiency in the English language is required
