Vice President Purchasing & Supply Management

As Vice President Purchasing & Supply Management (P & SM) you will manage aftermarket purchasing and sourcing on a worldwide basis for all Soft Products as a part of the overall Volvo CE P & SM process. You will support the product development and product maintenance process as well as order to delivery process. You will proactively lead and develop purchasing strategies leading to a world class supply base meeting our quality, delivery and cost targets. You will initiate and implement strategic supplier development activities.

You will be a member of Volvo CE P & SM leadership team. You will have a global team of about 50 employees located in Sweden, Korea, Brazil, France, Germany, US, India and China.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing robust and efficient Aftermarket purchasing and supplier development processes
- Management of the full Aftermarket supplier portfolio, globally
- Leverage common purchasing processes with Operations Purchasing
- Responsible for managing and achieving all P & SM Quality, Delivery and Cost (QDC) global objectives for Aftermarket
- Determine and manage the Global Aftermarket P & SM strategy in alignment to Volvo CE?s business strategies
- Seek and develop strong partnerships within preferred suppliers

Qualifications:
- University/college graduate
- 5 years of experience from leadership within Purchasing and/or Supply Chain management
- Proven highly qualified international negotiator
- Experience in complex and qualified sourcing on global basis
- Direct experience in managing supplier relationships and driving continuous improvement programs
- Solid understanding of OtD and PPD processes
- Successful management and leadership background, with direct experience from leading global organizations
