Volvo Cars Engineering Student Concept- Product & Quality - Gothenburg

We are looking for students starting the second year of their master’s during fall 2020 to join our VESC program within Product & Quality (P&Q)!

Through VESC, we aim to establish a good foundation for a long-term relationship between Volvo Cars and students in various Master's Programmes. The concept will provide you as a student with a unique opportunity to experience and work in the very centre of the product development in the automotive industry. 

What we offer
VESC consists of summer work at P&Q for 4-10 weeks, during the summer period 2020. 
Your Master thesis will take place within the same department as the summer work and be performed during spring 2021. You will also have an individual mentor and support during the program.

You and your profile
In order to be eligible as a participant in the VESC program, you need to start your second year of your Master's Programme in fall 2020. In addition, you need to be fluent in English. Some positions will require a valid driver’s license.

•    Applied Physics / Mathematics 
•    Systems Control and Mechatronics
•    Electric Power Engineering
•    Design (Mechanical, Technical, Industrial)
•    Quality and Operations Management

On a personal level
We are looking for a variation of people who are curious, open minded and not afraid of taking initiatives. We think you are open and having the ability to listen to others and have good cooperation and communication skills. You enjoy working in collaborating teams as well as independently and you have a committed attitude to complete your assignments. You are analytic and like problem solving, the greater problem the greater mystery to solve. You have a passion for the things you do!
