About the job
You’ll be joining a company that has set the foundation for growth, and you’ll work closely with Business Area C&B Heads and other stakeholders to make sure that our global compensation and benefits strategy is in place and executed. You take lead for the work connected to the Sandvik job architecture, are accountable for executive compensation and oversee strategic planning and design of all annual compensation programs - like the annual salary review, bonus setting and pay out, and ensure all programs align to the company culture and values. As we a strong growth agenda, you also support the business in HR related M&A activities. Keeping up with market trends and best practices in the area of C&B is important, and you share your knowledge and insights with stakeholders at all levels. In addition, you provide material to support the Sandvik Remuneration Committee and the preparation of the annual report.
Being responsible for Group compensation, benefits and global mobility, you’ll have five direct reports covering executive compensation, equity program, benefits and global mobility, and a functional responsibility for the area. In this position, you have the privilege to lead a well-developed function, and together with your team, you continue driving improvement to take us to the next level, and constantly respond to changing business need.


You report to and act in close collaboration with Executive Vice President & Head of Human Resources, and you’re valued partner in the HR Management team. You’ll be located in Stockholm or Sandviken and occasional travel to our business units around the world is part of the job.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with in-depth knowledge in the area of ​​Compensation and Benefits, and who have worked both strategically and operationally in a global environment for at least 10 years. You’re used to navigating in a decentralized organization with cross-functional collaborations and close contact with managers and HR, and you’re comfortable in presenting your cause to Executive Management and the Board. You’re also experienced in managing project and in job evaluations; preferably Mercer´s IPE method and tools. We expect an interest in new digital solutions, and good knowledge of Office 365 and experience from using Workday are advantageous. As we act in a global setting, you must be fluent in English, verbally and in writing.


You’re characterized by a structured, pragmatic and compliant way of working, and you capture opportunities without losing track of our direction. With a strategic and holistic view, you respond timely on business requirements and act on both urgent, short-term and long-term objectives. In all of your work, you rely on strong stakeholder management and great collaborations, and you empower people to find efficient solutions, look at new perspectives and share best practices.
