VP/General Manager

Reporting to the EVP of EA Studios, this senior leadership position will have responsibility for leading some of our key studios and franchises.

As the group VP/GM, you will be producing world class games with some of the most talented people in the industry. The role makes you responsible for all aspects of running studios and franchises. The person we are looking for has a strong mix of creative, technical and managerial experience from the games industry. Someone who lives and breathes games and has a history of successful titles and is hungry to help shape the new console landscape together with EA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Drive the studio plans and collaborate on product development for the optimal profit outcome
? Collaborate and partner with studio production, creative teams, marketing teams, business teams and licensors during the product development cycle.
? Working with the executive team, make sure projects adhere to a Greenlight Process throughout the life cycle, and that they meets their objectives all along the way
? Timely delivery and launch of titles. Properly schedule, drive, and track the team?s progress across milestones
? Ensure the health of the studios; makes sure teams are motivated, that the right people are added to the teams as necessary, and partner with HR as needed on key staffing needs.
? Pro-actively partner and collaborate with EA Studios Sales, Marketing, and PR organizations to brand and launch games consistent with the company identity
? P&L ownership
? Cross-collaboration with other GM?s to share best practices and talent within the company
? Reconcile business and creative needs to create inspirational product with successful business models

REQUIRED SKILLS
? Possess a minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in the games industry
? Successful track record in the development and launching of high profile entertainment and AAA console titles
? Strong knowledge of the software/game market, platforms, consumers and competitors
? Creative mindset with a passion for high quality and engaging user experience
? Solid team management and leadership experience
