Job Description
DevOps builds strategic competencies in Service Competence Centers (SCC): ERP, BI, Business Application Services, Network and Cloud Services, Hosting Services Sweden and Hosting Services US.

The Business Application Services competence center is responsible for developing, operating and enhancing application services supporting a broad scope of business capabilities, including for example Sales, Marketing, R&D, Production and Accounting & Reporting. Its services are reliable, fit for purpose, cost efficient, agile and secure. Most of the applications work is sourced to external parties but some applications are developed in-house.

The purpose of the Service Manager role is to take ownership for assigned application services throughout the lifecycle from service introduction, through enhancement and maintenance to decommissioning. The objective is to efficiently uphold agreed functionality, high availability, adequate performance and usability of services in scope, as well as to further develop the service to support and drive business capability development. You will report to Head of Business Application Services. The position is permanent and located at our head office in Stockholm at Sveavägen 44.



Key Responsibilities

- Organize, oversee and drive enhancement, management, maintenance and licensing of assigned applications, with internal and external parties
- Serve as point of contact and lead collaboration among business stakeholders and colleagues across Group IT to evaluate ideas and define solutions to needs
- Drive the Service team including business, IT and vendor members
- Ensure robust, performance optimized, efficient, scalable, reusable, secure and value adding designs to fulfill solution requirements
- Contribute to sourcing of new services and suppliers
- Build and manage relationships with and follow up on deliveries from companies that supply products and services to Swedish Match
- Manage projects and activities including define and execute project/activity scope, time plan and budget


Your profile:

Education: Degree in the field of IT-management, engineering or equivalent training

Experience:

- At least one years' experience in a relevant position, e.g. as service responsible, solution manager, delivery manager or project manager
- At least three years’ work experience

Personal skills:

- Broad experience from the IT-industry and understanding of relevant technologies
- Strong ownership of responsibilities
- leadership and communication skills
- Strong administrative skills
- Value and result driven
- Promotes teamwork. Outgoing and collaborative with Group IT colleagues, business colleagues and vendors.
