We currently have the following job opening;

Workshop Manager

As a workshop manager you will be responsible for a team of 12-15 employees that we expect you to support, coach and develop to reach the decided targets for the team. The team consist of mechanics with responsibility for repair and maintenance of prototype vehicles.
We are looking for a person who have a genuine interest in leadership and people.
You have excellent experience and knowledge in lean production, i.e. 5S, continues improvement, standardized work, VSM, and other tools that will help in developing flows and processes. In your leadership you have the ability to drive improvements both organizational and physical. You have good communication skills with ability to communicate with the team and with management.  You will need to understand laws, rules and regulations that are related to the work environment and how to follow them. Vehicle competence is important to be able to balance the work task distribution as well as supporting the vehicle management team to maintain proper statuses of the vehicles. You have the responsibility of keeping a world class standard in the workshop.

Responsibilities
• People management responsibilities for direct reports including leading and developing the team.
• Secure that safety regulations are followed according to local legislation
• Lead and follow-up activities in the Work shop
• Follow-up time plans
• Report decided KPI:s and Build status
• Support cross functionality with relevant processes
• Support process owner, improving process performance and capability
• Drive and support in change management 
• Participate and give budget input when required for investments and Business operations.
• Keep excellent structure of the workshop and the inventory.

Competences needed to be successful as a Workshop Manager:
• Appropriate academic qualifications and/or relevant work experience from a similar position
• Excellent knowledge and experience from change management and lean production
• Leadership skills with ability to inspire, drive, motivate and coach direct reports; employees.
• Ability to build high performing and diverse team with a strong team spirit.
• Cultural awareness and interest in diversity
• A flexible mindset with ability to lead change and development and take decisions
• A creative and analytical mindset to handle complex problems
• Ability to communicate clearly and be perceptive
• Ability to inspire and enable actions
• Project management experience
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in process development
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office programs
• Customer focused
• Excellent networking skills
