Young Financial Manager talent!Welcome to SIG International AB SIG International AB is the parent company of the growing company Scandinavian Internet Group AB.The company is a fast-growing, dynamic entrepreneurial company founded in 2007.Behind the company you will find several well-known business leaders and entrepreneurs.In 2008 and 2009 it was nominated one of Sweden's hottest web companies by Internetworld/IDG and was Shortcut magazine's Newcomer of the Year.We have one of Europe's fastest-growing career networks.The company's business concept is to market cost-efficient advertising services via its career portal Jobway and its education/ course site Studiesam - a unique model that is the first of its kind in the world.The company operates within the European market and has today offices in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Germany and has approximately 40 employees.The head office is located in central Stockholm.Find more information at: http://www.scandinavianinternetgroup.com Role description Financial Manager As a general overview the Financial Manager at SIG International is responsible for the day to day financial management of the company and will and will report directly to the CEO.By performing the tasks included in the role, the Financial Manager ensures that proper and complete accounting records are kept, that financial reports are timely and accurate, that the company's cash cycles are properly managed, and in general that sound financial considerations are taken into account in the management of the company.Key areas of responsibility - Purchase Ledger - Sales Ledger assistance - Nominal Ledger including Accruals and Prepayments - Credit Control and collecting - Bank Reconciliation and cash flow management - Fixed Asset Register - Intercompany Balance reconciliations (parent company and other subsidiaries) - Monthly, Quarterly and Year End Reporting & Year End Closing - Liaising with Clients, Auditors, Bank Representatives etc Budgets and Forecasts, analyzing margins and variances - VAT and other Tax matters - Payroll and ad hoc administration duties - Internal controls development and implementation Qualifications - Candidate should be educated to a degree level in relevant discipline with a practical experience in key areas.- 2-3 years relevant working experience - Good working knowledge of Excel and a good command of English, both written and spoken - Experience with accounting systems will be a distinctive advantage.- Working experience from book keeping is a must.We're looking for people who - Positive & Proactive - Thorough & Responsible - Self Starter & Goal orientated - Team player with good communication skills on all levels - Are ambitious and have the right personality and attitude.- Are young talents with an entrepreneurial spirit and unique driving force.- Has good analytical skills and a will to work hard.- Always help their colleagues and grows with responsibility.- Prefer flexibility before bureaucracy and status quo - Has the mind set that "good enough" is not "good enough".You know what it takes to succeed - There are no shortcuts, just hard work.
