Advanced Project Controls Professional - Scheduling

In this role you are responsible for all scheduling activities for moderate-level complexity projects or for a subset of high-level complexity project scope. You lead scheduling teams through all phases of a moderate complexity project and serve as a scheduling subject matter expert. As a mentor for junior members of the project controls team you must have advanced skills in communication, cross-cultural awareness, and leadership.

Essential functions:

* Initiate and plan all scheduling aspects of a project, which includes, but is not limited to schedule baseline, schedule analytics, schedule updating. Apply tools and techniques to plan work such that inefficiencies are reduced and overall project performance is optimized.
* Coordinate required tasks/deadlines. Escalate issues to appropriate levels of management.
* Lead all planned schedule activities and ensure schedule adherence. Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements to functional groups.
* Properly close the project by archiving schedule/tools. Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement, lessons learned, and risk avoidance for future work.
* Identify, assess, and implement value-added improvement opportunities which will improve overall project performance. Create and administer lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle. "
* Identify and provide schedule risk inputs to project risk management.
* Prepare reconciliations, monthly reports, trends, forecast at completion estimates, variance analysis, manpower profiles and cash flows together with the Project Cost Controls personnel.

* 6-12 years project controls experience in the position functional/technical area.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Expected to work Experience on projects with a moderate to high-level complexity designation, commensurate with proven experience.
* Advanced knowledge of Project Management Concepts.
* Advanced interpersonal skills such as the ability to deliver effective verbal and written communications using English language.
* Ability to operate and lead within complex team structures, able to analyze problems, establish facts, and make complex decisions with little to no supervision.
* Ability to work well within a team environment, coordinating efforts of cross-functional departments.
* Team Leader, Ability to works independently with, significant creativity - within general guidelines.
* Highly Proficient with both Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project software and advanced knowledge in using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

* Expected to successfully complete assigned training in Westinghouse Systems, Procedures, and Policies applicable to assignments.
