ST Aerospace Solutions would like to invite candidates for the position of Aero Structures Mechanic/Sheet Metal worker, to Stockholm/Arlanda.
ST Aerospace Solutions is a corporation owned 72 % by Singapore Technologies Engineering and 28 % by SAS Technical Services. We operate in Stockholm/Arlanda, Copenhagen/Kastrup and Oslo/Gardemoen. We are approx. 850 employees in Scandinavia and ST Aerospace has nearly 6000 employees worldwide.
Our deliveries of aircraft components are mainly to the aircraft industry, worldwide, of which SAS is the largest customer. We handle all the elements - from pick up of aircraft components to delivery of new or maintained components to the aircraft. Our logistic activity includes pur-chase, transportation, workshop production and storage of components.

The product group "Aero structures" consists of 60 persons who are responsible for the Over-haul, Repair, and Modification of Aircraft Structural Components. All Maintenance repair and overhaul activities are primarily performed in a workshop environment. The Primary areas of focus within Aero structures are: Nacelles- Thrust Reversers, Engine inlets, Fan Cowls, Ex-haust Nozzles.
The product portfolio also includes Flight controls-Ailerons, Flaps, Slats, Elevators, Rudders-, Doors-Entry, Cargo, Fairings, and Radomes etc.
Relevant ATA chapters are 27,51-57,71 and 78.

Main Tasks:
. Perform Thrust Reverser Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul and modification. Typical Work Scope s includes Testing, Inspection, Disassembly, repair/rectification of dam-age, Assembly and rigging of Thrust Reversers.
. Repair/rectification of damage to Airframe structural details for example -Frames, skins, beams, longerons, intercostals, panels, brackets etc.
. Manufacturing of replacement structural parts as required in accordance with drawing specification standards.
. Removal /installation of structural details involving the use of fixtures, templating, precision drilling, solid riveting, blind fasteners, bolts, Hi-Locks.
. Removal/installation of related mechanical details including actuating systems, Hold open rods, seals, piece parts, standard parts etc.
. Requisitioning of raw material and spare parts.
. Balancing of Aircraft flight control surfaces

Background:
- Skilled time served sheet metal worker/ Aircraft fitter/Structural mechanic or experi-ence from similar type of work
- Experience from other related skilled trade groups outside the Aviation industry for example panel beating, general metal work/fabrication,
- Work experience as a sheet metal worker/Aircraft fitter/Structural Mechanic or equivalent.
- Knowledge of regulatory authority requirements (EASA/FAA)- would be considered a merit.
- Knowledge/experience of composites- would be considered a merit.
- Basic computer skills

We expect the candidate:
- To have the ability to read, understand and interpret applicable Maintenance data, structural repair manuals, Component Maintenance manuals, Assembly Drawings, work-sheets, Service Bulletins, Service letters, Authority Directives etc.
- To be very thorough and have a positive and constructive attitude
- To be able to work independently and as a team.
- To be flexible and capable of handling stressful situations,
- To have good interpersonal skills, humour and a sense of integrity
- To have the ability to express yourself orally and in writing
The job is placed at Arlanda Airport, Stockholm, Sweden
Relevant trade union agreements apply. Work is performed on day shift
