About the Role

With offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Oslo, we are now looking to expand our Nordic business development team with a junior salesperson. Stationed in Stockholm, you will have an exciting opportunity to become a Sustainalytics business development expert and help us expand our position in the Nordics. Your clear understanding of our clients and prospects and their business drivers will be the key to success. This role has a strong emphasis on relationship development with clients and prospects and you will be an ambassador for the company from early on.
Help the team develop and implement the company’s business development strategy for the Nordics;
Help the team grow and maintain a robust sales pipeline by:
Participating in successfully closing incoming opportunities;
Responding to requests for proposals;
Identifying and developing new opportunities and use cases for our data/analysis;
Act as a trusted advisor to institutional & retail investors, banks, and insurers on how to apply Responsible Investment strategies and incorporate our products and services;
Stay on top of market developments, identify, and share product innovation opportunities;
Build, maintain and extend professional networks;
Further develop ESG and investment industry knowledge;
We work daily with colleagues in our other European offices as well as in the US and Canada, so the desire to work very closely with a diverse team from many different cultures is critical to working at Morningstar-Sustainalytics.
The ideal candidate needs to be an ambitious team player who can both succeed individually, as well as reaching goals through close collaboration with other team members. The ideal candidate will have:
Demonstrated passion for sustainability and an alignment with the company’s mission, vision, and values;
Financial services, responsible investment, or sustainability-related work experience is a plus;
Degree in related discipline (business, finance, environment and/or social sciences);
Client servicing and commercial skills;
A natural storyteller, you can understand and present complex products in an engaging way;
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint;
English &Swedish fluency (essential);
Experience from sales related work is a plus;
Genuine team player, who operates with a high level of integrity and enjoys working collaboratively.
