Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

We are looking for a driven and ambitious controller / digital officer to our team in Södertälje. Portfolio controlling and business support is a group within Business Control (XK) in the unit Corporate Management & Venture Business (X).

Our team

The focus in our team is to develop and improve our tools, processes and methods with the aim to increase the efficiency and improve our way of working within project controlling. We have an overall controlling responsibility for our project portfolio which mainly consists of R&D projects. Furthermore, we are responsible for driving the digital acceleration in our organization.

The position

The area of responsibility in this position is wide. The role is a combined role as business controller and digital officer. You will be in charge of the digital acceleration within project controlling, including the digital strategy and the overall coordination of the digital initiatives. You will also run specific initiatives and improvement activities connected to both digitalisation, IT-tools, processes and methods. As a digital officer you´ll challenge the organization in new ways of working and inspire new digital tools / working methods and you will have access to the digital network at Scania as a support. You will be the link between business and IT and secure the availability of current applications used.

You will have close cooperation with the other teams within Business Control (XK) as well as with other functions within both Scania and TRATON Group. To develop an understanding of the business and the needs is crucial which means you will have the opportunity to work actively with project controlling which means carrying out profitability and project calculations as well as continuous monitoring of the project financials throughout the project life cycle.

Your Profile

We are looking for a person with a couple of years of controlling experience. Experience from running digital initiatives and tools is meriting as well as knowledge in Power BI or other business intelligence tools. As a person you are driven, a team player and have a genuine interest in understanding the business. You have good social skills, a proactive approach and a positive attitude.

Ideally you have a masters’ degree in Business and Administration (or similar) and you are fluent in English and Swedish.
