Do you want to empower H&M Group to drive an efficient and sustainable tech development within Inventory Optimization? If the answer is yes, then this opportunity might be something for you! We are now looking for a customer obsessed Software Engineer to help us develop and roll out new omni-channel initiatives to our stores across H&M Group.
About the product area
Inventory Optimization is a part of the Customer Fulfillment domain. The domain responsibility covers solutions and improvements from allocation, through stock optimization and fulfillment of orders to customers, stores, and partners. The product area Inventory Optimization’s missions is to make all our inventory available to our customers in the most profitable and sustainable way possible. There are currently 12 products within the area.
About the product
Products in Store aims to fulfill H&M Group’s expectation on product availability and transparency in our stores, by providing intelligent replenishment and pick logic with intuitive, available, and up to date tools and technology to manage stock in stores.
The product team are working on exciting projects to better utilize our stores to fulfill our goal of a true omni channel experience for our customers.
The initiatives include Fulfill from Store/Buy Online Pick up In Store (BOPIS) and In Store Replenishment. The product’s foundation is H&M Group’s use of RFID across our supply chain, and we help drive the adoption of new use cases of RFID within the group.


Job Description


As a Software Engineer C# .NET Core, you will join a highly motivated cross-functional product team that are working together to achieve the team’s mission.
You will be working alongside the Product Owner, Business Experts, Data Analysts, and other Software Engineers in an autonomous and agile team, with the responsibility for designing new features to an application that fulfils our customers' shopping experience, using a variety of innovative technologies.
Responsibilities
Have a holistic view of the technical solutions and their role in the greater H&M Group eco system
Provide options for how the solution could be evolved to provide even more value
Communication with stakeholders (vendors, other product teams and end users)
Translate product strategy and requirements into suitable, maintainable, and scalable solution designed according to existing architectural guard rails
Build the simplest possible solution that fulfils user needs as well as meets functional, quality and data compliance
Integrations & APIs
Support and maintenance of applications

Mandatory requirements:
More than 3 years hands-on programming in C# .NET Core
Broad knowledge in Azure cloud environment (Azure Functions, App Service, Service Bus, SQL
Solid experience in the whole software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Strong expertise in integration patterns
Agile / Scrum ways of working
Excellent communication & presentation skills in both spoken and written English (Swedish is a plus)

This is a full-time position with placement in Stockholm and we are looking for candidates already located in Sweden or EU.
The role will require to travel occasionally to H&M stores for a good understanding of the business processes.
