Portør Pensjonat is an idyllic restaurant and guesthouse in the south region of Norway. We have a beautiful garden located 300 meters from the sea. We are open everyday for lunch and dinner. The summer are very hectic with many visitirs each day.
In July we have weekly conserts in the garden.
We rent out rooms, apartments and cabins.
Work and free time offer good opportunities, with a job in the middle of a scenic holiday paradise.
You will be working in a team of 4 chefs. Hours are according to schedule.
In your free time there are many opportunities for activities like fishing, swimming, boattrips, visiting the cities nearby and so on.
Job description:
Prepare for lunch and dinner. Work in the different stations of the kitchen. The menu is quite simple but with good quality of Norwegian fish and seafood.
Skills:
We are looking for an educated chef who has at least a few years of experience. Language: good level of English.
We need a chef who can work independently and in team. You should be able to cope with a hectic environment, be organized and structured.
