What’s in it for you?
In the Digital team, we build products that are both consumer-facing and internal systems. We work on products and platforms such as Volvo On Call, Connected Car Cloud Platform, Service Booking, Connected Safety, Customer Care Chat, Volvo ID, over-the-air updates, car connectivity, and APIs for building new innovative services.
The teams are located in Gothenburg, Stockholm and Lund, Sweden, and we also have teams in the US, India and in China. Many of the people you will be working with have experience from start-ups and global tech companies such as Spotify, Google, Ericsson, Microsoft, Tradera, Klarna and King.
We are now looking for another Senior SRE engineer for the “Bakery” team in Stockholm. You will be working with a group of skilled people currently engaged in providing a Cloud Platform for agile product development teams to use. 

What you’ll do
You will help us to improve our cloud platform, which is built using Terraform, Kubernetes and its ecosystem. You will provide new tools and services to our customers, which are the development teams.
You will also support, on-board and provide your expertise to the engineers across the organization that are using our platform.
We strive to automate as much as possible and you will take part in the development of our automation. We also review the state of the security within our platform on a regular basis.
We work closely with the data scientists to build a robust analytic platform.

Databases: Cassandra, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis
Message brokers: Kafka, AcrtiveMQ, MQTT
Tools: Terraform, Helm, Harbor
CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub/Azure Devops, Spinnaker, ArgoCD
Scripting and languages: Bash, Python, PowerShell, Ansible
Observability: Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack, Splunk, Jaeger, Sentry
Security: Vault, Falco, Trivy
Development methodology principles: SAFe, Kanban, Scrum, Lean

You and your skills
We are looking for an additional experienced Site Reliability Engineer, who has previous experience with the cloud platform toolchain we are using; Kubernetes, Terraform and AWS or Azure.
You are comfortable working with Linux systems, databases, networking and containers. Programming experience is beneficial, but not required.
You are open-minded, a quick learner and a team player.
