Commercial Project Manager – Life Cycle

As Commercial Project Manager Life cycle you will be responsible for securing the competitiveness of our products along the life-cycle. You do this by having a good understanding of the brand- and business strategies of LYNK & CO as well as market and competitor development. You will get input and requests from among others our sales and aftersales organizations, as well as from the car line management functions in our different regions, on needs. This role will generate needs based on internal analysis. You will be responsible for relaying and securing the timely delivery of product updates based on those needs, for cars in market during their lifecycle.

Responsibilities and tasks

You will be the customer of the life-cycle product updates developed for LYNK & CO within the Geely Auto group and by CEVT and in that capacity you will be responsible for developing the requests and definition of what those products should be. The work includes developing product requests and definitions based on customer, brand, business and market strategies. You will own and drive product marketing related topics for the relevant product lines cross functional and both towards R&D and the commercial organizations. Securing requests for new lifecycle product updates to secure continued competitiveness of our current products is also part of the responsibility.

Requirements

- B.Sc. Marketing/Engineering or similar education
- Strong and proven experience from project management of complex consumer products and service offers
- Ability to transform customer and market needs and wants into product requests and requirements
- A keen sense of business and how to manage a complex offer structure in a highly competitive consumer market is vital.
- Strong analytical skills and financial understanding is taken for granted in this position.
- Strong excel and business analytical skills, financial focus, customer value understanding
- The ability to intellectually move quickly between discussions on numbers, customers, products and business will be valuable.
- Team player with a “can do” attitude
