Compliance Manager /Assistant of Legal and Compliance Department

Bank of China Limited is one of the biggest and most internationalized banks in China. Bank of China (Luxembourg) S.A. Stockholm Branch was established in Sweden on July 2nd 2012. It is the first Chinese-funded Bank officially registered in Sweden and doing business in the Nordic area. The main business of our branch is commercial banking including corporate banking, personal banking and financial market business. We now plan to recruit Compliance Manager/Assistant in Legal and Compliance Department in the Stockholm Branch.
Job description
- Perform monitoring and controls to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and relevant policies and procedures;
- Carry out transaction monitoring;
- Review KYC documentation;
- Draft and coordinate relevant internal and external compliance reports;
- Inform and train employees on internal or external rules and regulations;
- Coordinate with internal audit department and relevant departments.
Basic Requirements
- University Bachelor or Master Degree in Law, or relevant subjects;
- Experience of working in an international company or environment;
- Fluent in spoken and written English, speaking in Swedish or Chinese is a plus;
- Prefer to have experience in compliance and transaction monitoring in banking or finance sector.
To be successful at this position it is important that you possess a good team work spirit, as well as excellent communication skills. Furthermore, you have a positive and problem-solving attitude, Customer-oriented mindset, and are able to work under pressure.
