Energy Balance Controller

Our client is a leading international energy company with activities that covers generation, distribution and sale of electricity and heat, as well as the operation and maintenance of power plants.They make sure that sustainable energy services are available today and tomorrow.[ They own and distribute power for regional networks in the Nordics.They distribute electricity for a total of 1,6 million customers.You will be working at the Revenue and Risk Management group (RRM) which is a newly formed function with the main focus to perform energy balance, analyze results and present findings to several strategic business functions.You will be a key part of a professional team with a close dialogue with business control, other strategic functions and external parties.Your area of responsibility As energy balance controller you will: * Perform and control energy balance of Swedish network * Analyze monthly balance settlement and possible impact on[financial result * Perform prognosis and control of transmission sales (accrual income / sales) * Support hedging and purchase of distribution losses according to risk policy * Calculate profile shares and grid losses * Report to and maintain dialogue with external and internal stakeholders according to requirements * Work with process and system improvements to enhance performance and quality * Verify data quality with source owners * Review and approve invoices according to responsibility Your background We are looking for a person with a University degree within business, technology, energy and/or IT.A strong candidate is analytical, structured, and takes ownership and is able to drive improvements independently.Candidate must also have documented skills in financial control, maintain high quality standards and be communicative with the ability to build strong relations.Our offering We offer opportunities to grow and develop yourself as well as interesting challenges in an international environment.Send your application with CV via www.assessio.se/rekrytering[as soon as possible but not later than 2008-12-18.
