What’s in it for you?

Volvo Cars is on a journey to implement a next-generation Enterprise Resource Planning solution across our business including the commercial, financial, industrial and corporate domains. As Enterprise Resource Planning Program Lead, you will lead and coordinate the successful transition to a future ERP solution including SAP S/4 HANA through all stages of planning, development, and implementation.

In this role, you will be the senior program leader responsible for ensuring the right capabilities, development plans, deployment strategies, and resource utilization. You will work closely with our business units to advise on transformation matters and settle blueprints, as well as our digital teams to drive and coordinate deliverables in an agile manner. You will be a member of our Strategy & Architecture team and report on program matters to the leadership team of Digital in Volvo Cars as well as other business units.

What you will do

Volvo Cars is going through rapid change with digitalization being a core driver. New business models including online sales and the modernization of our industrial system need a strong digital footprint that supports our future business needs while ensuring a robust and efficient IT landscape.

You will be the program leader responsible for developing and implementing the strategies and tactics for all ERP related digital workstreams. You will work with stakeholders to balance business needs and establish a solid roadmap while working closely with product teams to set the right design principles and operational criteria to be successful.

You will use your strategic thinking and experience to interact with business leaders across the company to advise on business process evolution and harmonization while ensuring digital solutions can be rolled out in an efficient manner across all units and regions. To build relationships and get things done you need strong communication and influencing skills and a deep understanding of the intersection of business processes and digital transformation.

To ensure overall success you will also work closely with portfolio, architecture, and sourcing teams to ensure we have the right plans, resources, and partners in place. You will regularly report overall status on ERP transformation to the digital management team and advise on issues and related matters.

You and your skills

You are intimately familiar with the SAP toolbox and know how to apply it, by being an SAP-certified professional or similar. To be successful in this position you need to have excellent program management skills and experience from digital deployments and agile ways of working. You should also have experience from leadership roles in previous large-scale ERP transformation programs covering multiple business domains.

We are looking for an experienced leader that is self-aware and that leads through purpose. We want to see a strong desire to bring out the best in people; using strengths of diversity and co-creation to develop talents.

We value leadership that builds trust, creates clarity, and drives results through collaboration. You are used to managing many stakeholders, advising on difficult trade-offs and are comfortable to lead even when things are not certain. You are used to setting and course-correcting plans as conditions change and work proactively to manage risks.
